Noa Steiner
Associate - global policy
Noa Steiner is a global policy strategist. She was previously BirdLife International's global policy coordinator, UNEP-WCMC's Programme Officer, and the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection's Coordinator of Open Landscapes and Biodiversity. She holds an MPhil in conservation leadership from Cambridge University, MSc in desert studies from the Blaustein Institute, Israel and a BSc In life sciences from the Ben-Gurion University. Noa specializes in international conventions, biodiversity-friendly energy infrastructure, and safeguards and standards of international financial institutions. She is committed to strengthening science-based policy and finding innovative ways to achieve long-term, effective biodiversity conservation impacts.
