Tools for personal conversations
At a personal level, Evolutionary Catalysts arrange to have thoughtful conversations with people they know and with influential decision-makers and influencers. These conversations expand people’s worldviews.

We have developed communication tools to make such conversation succinct and to the point.
​
Each person can add their own relational flair. The two most important tools are:

This tool enables people to appreciate why we need to change our destructive system. It brings home to people the reality of current trends towards a hothouse Earth, the collapse of our ecological life support systems, and potentially nuclear annihilation.
​
This tool enables people connect-the-dots about the systemic drivers of fossil fuel emissions and ecological damage. It enables people to be clear about what needs to change.
​
These are standalone tools; people can use them with little or no training.
​
The point of these conversations is to prepare people mentally and emotionally to support transformational leaders when they arise.
Engaging leaders and influencers
Some Evolutionary Catalysts introduce our vision to leaders of organizations and to influencers. We have three ways of telling the story.

The first is through an Outreach conversation using our slide deck.
​
Such conversations are always improvised; we adapt conversationally to the person we are talking with. A sample conversation is here.

Generally people need time to absorb new ideas. This point-by-point review can be useful for a follow-up conversation.
​
And this longform article simply tells the story. It can be emailed to savvy people who are potential colleagues.
​
The Evolutionary Catalyst Launch
If we are honest with ourselves, just a few conversations will make little difference in affecting public consciousness. And many people are shy about initiating conversations about climate change and our destructive system. Folks don’t want to offend their friends or become pariahs by talking about doomsday, even though we do have hopeful possibilities.
​
So – there are strong taboos against talking about reality. To break our cultural paralysis, Stable Planet Alliance, with others, is organizing an Evolutionary Catalyst Launch.
It will be over two weeks sometime in 2028.
​
During the Launch we will host a multitude of workshops, trainings, think tanks, business roundtables, posters, advertisements, grassroots social media posts, lectures and more.
Simultaneously, thought leaders and public intellectuals will publish articles and broadcast podcasts urging their audiences to become leaders and communicators in their own right. Filmmakers and artists will release documentaries and original artworks.

This communication blitz will shift the Overton Window - the zone of what is acceptable to talk about.
However, as you know our long-term intention is much larger. It is to change the direction of society.
​

Improving emotional functioning
Our goal is to co-create a compassionate, just, ecologically sustainable world. Unresolved trauma interferes with people’s innate compassion.
Inner Work is a manual of techniques people can use to resolve their own emotional triggers.
The techniques are straightforward to apply.
And they are easy to teach. Some Evolutionary Catalysts introduce them to people they know. In doing so, they are not acting as professional therapists, but as trainers.

Kilroy’s Comments
During and after World War II there was a fad scribbling a cartoon face with the line Kilroy was here. It was quite popular. Apparently Stalin came out of the loo at the Yalta Conference and asked, “Who was this Kilroy character?”
