Philip Cafaro

Dr Phil Cafaro is a philosophy professor at Colorado State University focused on environmental ethics, population and consumption issues, and preserving wild nature. He is the author of two books, affiliated faculty of CSU’s School of Global Environmental Sustainability, and past president of the International Society for Environmental Ethics.  Phil  hosted the TV show The Population Factor on Earthx TV. This show was an important spot for honest and probing discussion of population issues in the English speaking world.  He is also co-principle investigator of The Overpopulation Project (TOP), headquartered at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. With help from the Global Challenges Foundation, TOP has been studying the environmental impacts of overpopulation and  exploring humane policies to end population growth around the world.
